Course contents
Building on a relevant first professional qualification, the Master's degree programme imparts advanced knowledge in several areas of mathematics within the framework of a broad range of compulsory electives and introduces students to current research in a specialisation area.
In addition, the study should enable students to independently solve complex mathematical problems using scientific methods.
The mathematical education is supplemented by the study of an application subject.
By choosing one of the fields of study mathematics, computer mathematics, technomathematics or business mathematics, students have the opportunity to focus on specific subjects.
